2009 JUNETEENTHPDX Freedom Parade
The oldest known community celebration acknowledging the end of slavery
in America is now taking applications for the JuneteenthPDX parade!
EVENT: Saturday June 20, 2009 at 11 a.m.
START LOCATION: Bethel AME Church
END LOCATION: Jefferson High School sports field, between Kerby & Commercial
PARADE ENTRY FEES
- $15 if payment received before May 30, 2009 (plus qualify for listing our 2009 souvener keepsake book)
- $25 if payment received after May 31, 2009
- $30 for on-site registration (day of parade)
A completed and signed entry form, submitted entry fee and media release/liability waiver are all we need to reserve your space in the 2009 JuneteenthPDX parade. Once we receive your information, a confirmation email or postcard will be sent.
